Thank you for your donation to Honor Flight Kern County. Your generosity helps make it possible for our World War II and Korean War veterans to realize a life-long dream of seeing their memorial in Washington DC. As you know, Honor Flight Kern County is an All-Volunteer, Non-profit created solely to honor Kern County Veterans for all their sacrifices. Donations make it possible for a Veteran to receive a hero’s send off in Bakersfield and all the fanfare of a returning hero in DC. Veterans then spend an entire day and a half on a guided and escorted tour of the Memorials in DC, including Arlington Cemetery. The American Veteran is one of our greatest treasures…those men and women who answered our nation’s call to defend freedom. Our mission is to honor and thank those veterans. Your generous support helps make that mission a reality.

Thank you so much for all your help and encouragement with mom’s 95th birthday party on February 7th. Chairs, tables, linens, colors, miscellaneous options – Oh my, and somehow you walked us through it, even long distance. My sister and I had complete confidence that this part of the party puzzle was in good hands until we could arrive from our homes in the Pacific NW.
